About The Fighter’s guild

My name is Aaron Nieborak I’am the sole owner of the martial arts gym The Fighters guild abit about me i have been involved in the martial arts for about 30 years.

I have experience in judo, pankration, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Catch as Catch can wrestling, western boxing and kickboxing,

I have competed in many grappling comps and in mixed martial arts as an amateur and at a professional level.

My goal for the fighter’s guild is to have all ranges of combat covered from striking to submissions and even weapons.

My classes are geared towards Combat sports competition but also if you’re just looking for general self-defence or fitness.

I opened Fighters guild because i have a huge passion for Martial arts in particular western martial arts which are somewhat overlooked, I continuously seek new and old ways to improve my knowledge in all forms of the martial arts, I really enjoy taking my time to research and teach what i know to others which i feel shows in those willing to trust the process.

It's important to remember that martial arts are not just about physical techniques, but also about mental discipline and personal growth.

MMA

The MMA class at fighters guild is where you will learn to put striking and grappling together, you will learn how to close the distance on your opponent using strikes and setting up takedowns, getting up off your back and take down defence so weather you’re looking to compete, for fitness or self-defence the MMA classes will turn you into a well rounded martial artist.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a blanket term used for multiple different combat sports, here at the fighter’s guild we don’t focus on any particular style or rule set, the kickboxing we do is well suited to mix martial arts competition.

And is a mixture of western boxing, Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) Muay Thai (Thai boxing) The kickboxing class typically involves conditioning foot work drills, dutch drills, pad work and sparring.

Submission wrestling

At the fighters guild submission wrestling covers a mixture of Kosenjudo (Pre world war 2 judo) catch as catch can wrestling and Brazilian jiujitsu it is all no gi to not contradict its use for mixed martial arts competition or its use in self-defence, at fighters guild we value take downs and top control and also have a wide variety of joint locks, chokes, cranks and leg locks.

Historical European Martial arts

Historical European Martial arts, or hema for short involves the study and practice of historical European fighting techniques.
